In 1948 Eugene Kingman was commissioned by Mr. Arthur Hayes Sulzberger, Sr., CEO of The New York Times, to paint this mural, which hung in the New York Times lobby for years. It was donated to the Joslyn Castle and now is displayed in the Omaha Public Library. Note Susan Coolidge’s timeless quote: “Every day is a fresh beginning…Every morn is the world made new.”
